The Community of Sant'Egidio and the poor.
On the Community website has been posted yesterday an article from "Il Paese della sera" (http://www.santegidio.org/pageID/3/langID/it/itemID/19880/Vivere-insieme-da-anziani-contro-la-crisi.html). It points out how co-housing experiences among elderly can be a viable alternative to institutionalization. An option for a "resistance against the human degradation and the flattening of the 'non-places'".
