The Congregation of the Causes of Saints has announced its "nihil obstat" about the diocesan process on the martyrdom of Floribert Bwana Chui, killed in July 2007 for refusing to be bribed.
And the Bishop of Goma has decreed the beginning of the historical investigation on life and death of "this servant of God".
Two more steps towards the official start of the cause of beatification.
