Bujumbura, Burundi - A footage of the delivery of food aid

The Community of Sant'Egidio is greatly concerned about the situation of uncertainty and violence that Burundi is going through.
Burundian communities continue to engage in service to the needy, particularly at this time, when we remember the example of St. Francis, accompanying them in a difficult time.

The mother community of Rome, for its part, has promoted a fundraising through which it has been possible to send food aid to be distributed in the poorest neighborhoods of Bujumbura.

a footage on the first day of the delivery of aid, in Kinama-Kamenge, in the presence of the auxiliary bishop of Rome, Msgr. Matteo Zuppi.
For those who want to help collecting money, they can do it by visiting the website of the Community, www.santegidio.org.
